I am motivated by the freedom and the unknowns that come as a result of play. There are no rules or boundaries when creating for the sake of expression. I create art from pieces that once had a specific purpose and now are simply valued for their color, shape, and texture.

Then once the piece is complete, there is a valuable shift.

The Joy of communication and affecting others is paramount to making my joy meter peg out at ten. I also enjoy enabling people to think beyond life’s routine and creating thought and dialogue on a deep level that we seldom make time for. The fact that I have engage another, made them smile, or brought forth memories to be shared…makes it all worth while.
